This is me right now. Mid-length, mid brown, mid-bloody-boring!
Looking back I've had some pretty different hairstyles to say the least!
Blonde...
V dark and v short
Mid length brown with a side fringe
A full fringe
Centre parting
Extensions
Chocolate brown and wavy
So what's next for my hair? I just don't know. I'm feeling totally uninspired by it at the moment. I've been toying with the idea of a full fringe since Christmas but keeping the length and a bit more texture around my face. To top it all off I need a new Manchester based hairdresser. The only people who have ever cut my hair are my sister who is an amazing hairdresser and even better colourist and couple of members of the team at Lee Stafford's salon is Leigh-On-Sea Essex. Needless to say I'm somewhat apprehensive about going anywhere else!

I actually think it looks great at the moment.. Maybe just add a few layers or highlights if you really want to give it some oomph but think long and hard before going full fringe.. You've had one before so I'm sure you know how frustrating they are to style and maintain.. I had one a few years ago and I swear I had to get it trimmed every week or it started doing this weird flicky thing AND it parted in the middle everytime I walked.. But then again, they do look so nice!
ReplyDeleteI think I just get bored easily! I'm seriously tempted to invest in a good quality clip in fringe. I just love a fringe but sometimes cant be bothere with the hassle of styling it!
Deleteim bored of my hair at the moment! getting it done wednesday so need to decide between going darker or getting blonde put back in. its a dark blonde/mousy brown right now but i want to change it up a bit! your hair looks lovely chocolate brown and wavy! x
ReplyDeleteMy friend went from bright blonde to chocolate brown last weekend and it looked gorgeous. I've known her for years but never noticed what big and beautiful eyes she had until she went dark. I think this is where my hair envy has sprung from!
DeleteI'm totally bored of my hair too but whenever I veer away from blonde I don't like it and people actually tell me they don't like it too! I'd love to go bright red but the maintenance and getting rid of it when I got bored of it would kill me.
ReplyDeleteI'd love bright red too. But my sister told me that she wouldn't do it as she doesn't have the energy to re-colour my hair every 3 weeks!!

ReplyDeleteI'm in a similar quandary at the moment, want to change it but cant decide how! The thing with a fringe is that I find I always have to wash it, more often than the rest of my hair!
I just had to google her, and I can see the resemblance lol! With darker hair I get told I look like Martine McCutcheon ALL the time! I'm so lazy with washing my hair. I do it twice a week max! When I had my fringe I used to just wash that over the sink. I'm proper gross but I have soooo much hair it takes FOREVER to dry! Lx
