MAC Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish Review

I'm never one to usually get causght up in the hype of a new MAC collection.  I try to be really considered about what I'm going to buy purely because I have so much makeup already!

But when I heard Stereo Rose was being repromoted in the Apres Chic collection I just new I was going to cave and buy it.  I sometimes resent it when really rare products are brought back out again in new collections (helloooo Lightscapade) but this time I was just happy to be able to lay my hands on it.

It's a beautiful coral coloured skinfinish with a heavily frost finish and antique gold veining.  It's definitely more of a shimmery blush than it is a highlighter but because it's part of the mineralize range the colour is very buildable and super long lasting.  The sheerness gives it a really skin-like quality and for me that's what makes it more of a day-time colour.  What makes this so unusual is that the colour is typically a "summer" colour but I tend to prefer frost in my products during winter months when my skin is dull and tired.  So I guess this sort of makes is better for Spring?? I dunno, but I'm really happy I was able to pick it up this time.

Ok, so availibility.  I grabbed this in the Westfield store where they seemed to have a few left.  I don't think this has been flying of the shelves as quickly in store as it has online so might be worth calling round to see who has any left?

Did you pick up anything from the Apres Chic collection?
