The Body Shop Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil

My nails take some serious abuse. It's predominantly from using alcohol to sanitise products and clean brushes but also spending time in the biting cold outside on shoots.

I'm aware that my hands are up in people's grills a lot. And would you want someone with manky hands touching your face? Nope, thought not.

One problem area for me is my cuticles. They dry out so badly and tend to bleed and get very sore... Lovely!!

Recently I've popped this Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil from The Body Shop into my handbag in the hope that it would restore some dignity to my deteriorating digits!

It contains various natural oils including sweet almond and olive which are super nourishing, and lanolin and beeswax to protect. Another great feature of this product is the little rubber stopper which can be used a bit like an orange stick to push back the cuticles.

Since I've been using it I've noticed that my cuticles are a little softer and less prone to splitting, but I've also noticed how quickly my nails have grown! I've had mine in my handbag for manis on the go, but it would make an excellent bedside table product.

Best part is, it's only £7! I had a bit of a splurge in The Body Shop and repurchased some old favourites. Any other products I should be trying??

  1. I purchased this when the 02 priority moments was on to get £40 worth of products for £20. This resides in my handbag too and is great to use during lectures etc haha. Enjoying it at the moment and will probably do my own post too at some point x

  2. Oh this sounds good... I'm obsessed with cuticle products and apply them religiously but could use one for on the go! CND Solar oil is my current fave (ebay)
